ILM Tree is a non-profit Muslim cooperative education center run by member families who have a passion for being the primary
providers of their own children’s education.
We strive to combine the best available classical curriculum and our Islamic traditions to educate the “whole” child. We started with a vision of what a great education should be and have grown by adding members whose skills and values support our common goals.
ILM Tree models an extended family approach to learning. We teach and learn in a spacious residential home. The older students are role models for the younger. Fathers are involved as well as mothers. By keeping our program affordable through opportunities to work off tuition costs, ILM Tree is truly a place where parents and children of any background are welcome. They are taught that no one group is better than another and that the best of people are those who love Allah.
The ILM Tree Co-op is committed to academic excellence,
ethnic diversity, cultural awareness, and community service within a safe,
family-centered environment.
We are developing a unique, replicable education
model that we believe can function as a viable new paradigm for any Muslim
institution of learning in America that endeavors to offer superior academic
instruction and a well-rounded education.
By means of your generous
financial support, our present and future endeavors will succeed!
